A 16-year-old girl has died after a road accident in the North, police said today.

A 16-year-old girl has died after a road accident in the North, police said today.

The victim was killed in a one vehicle crash on the Stoneyford Road in Lisburn.

The incident took place at around 9pm last night.

Her death takes to 83 the number of people who have lost their lives on the region’s roads this year.
