Kiely elected to Seanad agriculture panel

Six out of 11 seats on the agriculture panel have now been filled in the Seanad elections as Ruairi Kiely from Killmallock, Co Limerick is the latest candidate to be elected.

Six out of 11 seats on the agriculture panel have now been filled in the Seanad elections as Ruairi Kiely from Killmallock, Co Limerick is the latest candidate to be elected.

So far, 12 of the 60 seats in the upper house of the Oireachtas have been declared.

The latest additions to the Seanad include Paddy Burke of Fine Gael from Castlebar, Peter Callanan of Fianna Fail from Inishshannon in Co Cork, and Jim Walsh of Fianna Fail, from New Ross, in County Wexford.
