Ryanair has said it is prepared to go to the High Court to prevent Aer Rianta building a new pier at Dublin Airport.
The low cost airline has objected to a planning application for the new pier, saying that it could seriously damage the prospect of a new terminal.
Ryanair’s chief executive, Michael O’Leary, said the planned location of the new facility between the two runways is the obvious choice for a new terminal.
He also says the project, which is due to cost €70m, is far too expensive.
