President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today said Iran would soon celebrate completion of its controversial nuclear fuel programme.

"With the wisdom and resistance of the nation, today our position has stabilise," he said.

"I'm very hopeful that we will be able to hold the big celebration of Iran's full nuclearisation in the current year."

Iran's current calendar year ends on March 20.

Ahmadinejad also claimed that international community was caving it to Tehran's demand for a nuclear programme. He did not elaborate.

The US and some of its allies allege that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. Tehran claims its programme is peaceful and purely for generating electricity.
