Gardai in Sligo have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing in the town earlier this afternoon.

Gardai in Sligo have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing in the town earlier this afternoon.

A Northern man in his 50s has died following the incident, which happened in Holborn Street at around lunchtime.
