A Cabinet meeting aimed at finalising the details of next week's mini-Budget got underway this afternoon at Government Buildings in Dublin.
This afternoon’s is the seventh such meeting in two weeks, and follows comments by the Taoiseach yesterday that there will be a 10% drop in living standards in Ireland over the next two years.
The supplementary Budget, which will be delivered on April 7, is expected to contain massive spending cuts and changes to the tax system.
