Man appears in court charged with Noonan murder

A 33-year-old man has appeared in court charged with falsely imprisoning murderered father-of-one Ciarán Noonan.

A 33-year-old man has appeared in court charged with falsely imprisoning murderered father-of-one Ciarán Noonan.

The remains of the 29-year-old were found following extensive Garda searches in Co. Meath earlier this month.

He was last seen being dragged into the boot of a car in the East Wall area of the capital some weeks earlier.

Dublin District Court has heard Mark Allen with a former address at Baylis Village,Johnstown, Navan, Co Meath may yet face a more serious charge.

The father of one has been refused bail and will appear in court again next Wednesday.
