Burnside condemns Catholic homes attacks

Ulster Unionist David Burnside has condemned a series of paint bomb attacks on three Catholic homes in the Townparks estate in Antrim town.

Ulster Unionist David Burnside has condemned a series of paint bomb attacks on three Catholic homes in the Townparks estate in Antrim town.

Mr Burnside said: "All decent members of our community must stand up to these thugs and not allow intimidation to divide or alienate our community."

Meanwhile, John White of the Ulster Political Research Group, has called on republicans to accept their share of the blame for recent sectarian violence.

He said tensions cannot be reduced until all sides accept the truth and work realistically to end street clashes.
