Ryanair have launched an assault on the pop charts with 'Mr Superfly'.

The fly with superpowers, who lives in parallel fly universe Flyspace, came into being when UK-based songwriter Lou Mullenger wrote a song based on Ryanair's in-flight music, after her seven-year-old daughter kept singing it.

'Mr Superfly' is being released into the charts on November 10 and can be pre-ordered on Ryanair.com.

An animated television series and children's book have been commissioned and are already in production. A preview of what to expect can be seen on www.mrsuperfly.com.

Ryanair will promote sales of the tune, mobile ringtones and 'Mr Superfly' merchandise across its entire fleet of 167 aircraft and on Ryanair.com.

Listen to a sample of the tune and get more information on www.mrsuperfly.com.
