Gardaí in Limerick have begun an investigation into a shooting in the city.

Gardaí in Limerick have begun an investigation into a shooting in the city.

A number of shots were fired at a house in College Avenue, Moyross, at around 1am.

The house was occupied at the time. No-one was injured.

A number of shells were discovered at the scene and have been removed for technical examination.

It is understood that the family targeted in the incident have been involved in an ongoing feud in the city.
