Bye bye Becki

Big Brother new girl Becki Seddiki was booted out of the reality TV house in a public vote as fellow nominee Ahmed today celebrated his survival by pleading with programme bosses for a hug.

The 44-year-old Somali was hauled into the Diary Room after Becki was evicted and admitted he expects to be the next contestant to leave the show.

Whilst talking wistfully about his fellow nominee, Ahmed asked Big Brother for a hug to soothe his frustrations at again being selected for the boot by his housemates.

“As you know Ahmed, you can’t hug Big Brother,” he was told.

“I want to hug you,” he boomed, leaning towards the camera and adding: “Your voice excites me.”

The much ridiculed competitor then said: “I have to go, otherwise I start hugging the walls… I just wanna go.”

Earlier, Moroccan-born brunette Becki had hugged fellow contestants and smiled after learning she would be leaving.

The 33-year-old bi-sexual singer was introduced to the Big Brother house in late June, 10 days after the infamous alcohol-fuelled bust-up.

A trainee florist, who lives in north London, she initially told the group she had been a Big Brother contestant in Italy, but soon confessed she was bluffing and was actually English.

She was drafted in following the departure of three female contestants - Kitten, Emma and Vanessa – in the first four weeks of the show, but failed to make any real impact.

Following her departure, Becki told the show’s host Davina McCall: “I had a fantastic time. It was amazing and I was privileged to be able to be in the house.

“I would recommend other people to go for it. It was a short stay and I was expecting it.”

She added: “I went in there knowing, ‘Last in, first out’. I was just glad to be in there and wanted to have a good time.”
