Plans are reportedly being hatched for a Beatles album to mark the 40th anniversary of their first hit.
Their debut single Love Me Do made it into the charts in October, 1962.
Bosses at record label Parlophone held a secret meeting to discuss the project at Abbey Road studios, according to The Sun newspaper.
The - as yet untitled - double CD would have up to 50 tracks and be billed as the ultimate Beatles album.
The 2000 release compiling all their number one hits became the fastest-selling CD ever.
