Ryanair to purchase 100 new aircraft
Ryanair shareholders are meeting this morning to approve the purchase of dozens of new aircraft.
Orders have been placed with Boeing for 100 737’s, with a possible 50 more in the pipeline.
It is thought Ryanair is paying less than the €9bn cost of the new planes.
The fleet is expected to service up to four new hubs the airline intends to use across Europe.
