Gardaí have ruled out foul play following the discovery of a man's body in a wheelie bin in Co Kerry.

Gardaí have ruled out foul play following the discovery of a man's body in a wheelie bin in Co Kerry.

The remains of 32-year-old Declan Power from Bunmahon in Co Waterford were found in a waste recycling truck in Listowel yesterday.

A post mortem examination has been carried out and gardaí say they are no longer treating his death as suspicious.

It is understood Mr Power climbed into the bin and fell asleep while at the annual Harvest Race meeting.
