Gardaí are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination today after the discovery of a man's body in house in Glandore, Co Cork on Sunday afternoon.

Gardaí are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination today after the discovery of a man's body in house in Glandore, Co Cork on Sunday afternoon.

It is believed the body of the 60-year-old could have been there for up to two weeks.

The alarm was raised after neighbours became concerned that they had not seen the man.

The house remains sealed off until gardaí can confirm that no foul play was involved.
