Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson has insisted that he is not planning for a move elsewhere.
The keeper was recently spotted house-hunting in London, fuelling rumours that he was preparing to leave relegation-threatened Leeds.
But Robinson, who signed a new contract last year, claims people have over-reacted and that he is only looking to invest in property in the capital.
He told the club’s official magazine, Leeds, Leeds, Leeds: “I’ve got no plans to move anywhere. I’ve just bought a new house in Yorkshire.
“I’ve got a bit of land and my dogs, two boxers, run around on it. My dogs love running around, I’m not going to put two boxers in a city centre apartment with no garden.
“I’ve got a pension, but I just fancied an investment property, an apartment in the centre of London. It’s somewhere to invest my money and if I get a weekend off it’s nice to use.
“But I think that someone – maybe one of the estate agents – stitched me up. It’s the thing about Leeds having had to sell some of their players recently.
Someone put two and two together and made 46."
