Veteran Frankie Minoza of the Philippines held a slender one-stroke advantage at the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open when he was forced off the 18th green by a thunderstorm this afternoon.

Minoza faced a testing 15-foot putt to save par and remain on eight under when the siren went off at 2:45pm, bringing play to a premature end for the third consecutive day with 27 players still on the course at the Damai Indah Golf and Country Club.

At the time of the stoppage, the 47-year-old was a stroke ahead of Suk Jong-yul, who was seven under through 15 holes, and Mikko Ilonen of Finland who moved level with the Korean after a birdie at the 14th.

Australian rookie Andrew Tampion, who shared the overnight lead with Ilonen, was fourth after dropping to five under following three bogeys on his front nine.

Shiv Kapur of India and Tony Carolan of Australia had completed their rounds on four under and were tied for fifth place with England’s Gareth Davies and the Thai trio of Chawalit Plaphol, Thammanoon Srirot and Chapchai Nirat.
