Armed raiders hold up post office in Limerick

Two men have escaped with an undisclosed sum of money following an armed robbery at a Limerick post office this morning.

Three men have escaped with an undisclosed sum of money following an armed robbery at a Limerick post office this morning.

The raiders, who were wearing ski masks, entered the post office at Caherconlish, on the outskirts of the city, at around 9am.

They later fled the scene in a dark-coloured Volkswagen Golf with what gardaí say was a small amount of cash.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
