The Ospreys despair at losing out to Munster in the Heineken Cup was deepened by the news that prop Duncan Jones could be out for six weeks with a broken thumb.

The Ospreys despair at losing out to Munster in the Heineken Cup was deepened by the news that prop Duncan Jones could be out for six weeks with a broken thumb.

It is likely that Jones will be absent from Wales' first three matches in the RBS Six Nations against England (February 5), Italy (February 12) and France (February 26).

It is not yet known whether he will need an operation.

Duncan Jones, who is 26, has been capped 17 times for Wales between his debut against the Wllabies in 2001 and the Test against Japan in November 2004.
