Three held in North organised-crime crackdown

Three people were arrested today as part of the fight against organised crime in Northern Ireland.

Three people were arrested today as part of the fight against organised crime in Northern Ireland.

The two men and a women were detained at an address in the Antrim area by officers from the PSNI Organised Crime Branch.

A firearm was also seized during the arrests.

The arrests were as a result of a long running and ongoing investigation into organised crime and those detained were taken to the PSNI Serious Crime Suite in Antrim for questioning.
