The DUP have challenged the entire Ulster Unionist Stormont ministerial team to resign their posts if David Trimble carries out his threat to resign next Sunday.

The DUP have challenged the entire Ulster Unionist Stormont ministerial team to resign their posts if David Trimble carries out his threat to resign next Sunday.

East Derry MP Gregory Campbell told the Northern Assembly that he would also stand down from his ministerial post along with party colleague Maurice Morrow.

The two have tendered a resignation letter effective on the resignation of all Ulster Unionist ministers.

Mr Trimble is set to resign as First Minister on July 1st if there is not sufficient decommissioning by the IRA.
