Taoiseach to launch Nice campaign
Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will today formally launch the Government’s campaign for approval to ratify the Nice Treaty.
The referendum will take place on June 7.
The electorate will be asked to vote in two other referenda on that date.
They include the prohibition of the death penalty and the amendment of the constitution regarding the International Criminal Court.
