Middle-aged men are the most at risk of suicide in Ireland, according to the Dublin Samaritans.
The emotional support centre is launching its "Talk To Us" campaign today, alongside Leinster Rugby players Shane Jennings and Issac Boss.
The campaign targets men in particular, with volunteers from the Samaritans taking to the streets to let people know that they are available to talk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
"The number of young people who are dying by suicide, too, is a huge concern for parents and families," said Brendan Gallagher, Director of The Dublin Samaritans.
"We know that sometimes a person in ca crisis can think of suicide as a resort - we as an organisation want o see a world where fewer people die by suicide."
