Leitrim 2-12 South Down 3-11

South Down's two-point win over Leitrim today secured them a spot in a first ever Division 4 final.

Leitrim got off to the perfect start and led by 1-7 to 0-2 after 26 minutes.

However, Paddy Branniff's charges upped their game as a John Brown goal from a '65' cut the gap to the minimum at the interval.

Although a 43rd-minute Clement Cunniffe goal gave Leitrim a 2-8 to 1-8 lead, goals from Jonathan McCusker and John O'Kane saw South Down power home.
