A Bahamian police commander says detectives are investigating a weekend robbery of two paparazzi shortly after they snapped pop idol Robbie Williams on a beach.
Superintendent Ellsworth Moss says investigators have interviewed Williams about the robbery of the two celebrity photographers on Sunday morning who travelled to Staniel Cay to sneak shots of the star on holiday.
The paparazzi told police that they got into a shouting match with Williams’ entourage while they photographed the former Take That singer.
Hours later, they claim, four armed men broke into their rented room and stole around €17,000 worth of cameras and other equipment.
Supt Moss stressed that the singer was not a suspect but that detectives are “exploring all options.”
