Striking postal workers in the North are expected to call and end to their wildcat industrial action later today.
The workers in Belfast mounted the stoppage without the support of their trade union almost three weeks ago to protest at alleged bullying and harassment by management.
The strike has halted most mail deliveries in Belfast since the end of January.
The staff involved in the action are due to meet at noon today to vote on proposals for an independent review of work practices.
They are expected to vote in favour of the plan, but it will still take a month to clear the backlog of mail that has been building up at sorting offices for the past few weeks.
