An explosive start from the home side rocked top four outfit Galwegians in this surprisingly one-sided encounter at Templeville Road.

Mary's got off to a cracking start with scrum half Simon Keogh racing from just inside the Galwegians half before scoring in the corner.

Galwegians, who lost former Irish out-half Eric Elwood after just 20 minutes, fell further behind to tries from John MacWeeney and Kieran Lewis. Although Galwegains managed a try through Eric Peters, there was no stopping Mary's who ran in a total of five tries to a convincing win.
