This afternoon’s meeting at Ludlow has been abandoned due to frost and snow.
Officials checked the track for a second time again at 9am after a 7am inspection proved inconclusive.
There was frost in the ground with a covering of snow and clerk of the course Bob Davies said: “Racing is off. We’ve tried to give it every chance but conditions haven’t got any better and you can’t hang on too long.
“The sun is getting up but the temperature is still below freezing at the moment. We’ve got a covering of snow and a bit of frost.”
A total of 52 meetings have been lost to the weather so far this jumps season.
