The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested two months ago following a lengthy Garda investigation.

The 50-year-old accused is facing a total of 50 charges dating as far back as March 15, 2007.

On that date, he is accused of sexually assaulting a female at the car park of a hotel at Dublin Airport.

He is further charged with engaging in sexual acts with a child under the age of 17 on various dates in 2011.

At a previous court appearance, the accused was granted bail and he is due to be served with a book of evidence today.
