Rua Tipoki and Ian Dowling have both been named in the Munster squad to play Sale Sharks this weekend despite picking up injuries in the recent game against Montauban.
The pair sat out training yesterday, with Dowling nursing a dead leg and Tipoki struggling with a thigh strain.
However, there is optimism that both will be given the all-clear to play in Sunday's Heineken Cup tie.
Elsewhere, Kieran Lewis and Denis Hurley have been drafted into the squad along with Tony Buckley, who has recovered from a bout of illness.
Connacht, meanwhile, have announced a 25-man squad ahead of their European Challenge Cup clash against London Irish at the Sportsground on Friday.
Andy Dunne and Adrian Flavin have both overcome their respective injuries to be included in the squad, with John Lyne also called up.
