The UK's Stable Lads Association is to restructure the role of its national secretary into two separate positions.
One of the two roles, a chief executive with overall responsibility for the running of the association, will be appointed, the national committee decided today.
The elected position of national stable staff representative will be filled by someone nominated and elected by members of the SLA.
These changes have been made after Bill Adams stepped down last month after 20 years as national secretary.
