Golf: New sponsors for Ryder Cup
Budweiser has become the official beer of the Ryder Cup at The Belfry in September next year.
David Dryden, marketing director for Anheuser-Busch Europe, said: "The Ryder Cup transcends golf and has become one of the most prestigious global sporting events.
"With its broad international appeal the event is a perfect fit for Budweiser, the world's largest selling beer."
The sale of alcohol was a contentious issue at the event in Boston two years ago, when a number of European players, Colin Montgomerie in particular, were heckled.
