There's good news for the Irish film industry with new figures showing it contributed over €168m to the economy this year.

Irish film industry brings €168m into the economy

There's good news for the Irish film industry with new figures showing it contributed over €168m to the economy this year.

The Irish Film Board has said that represents an increase of 18% on 2012 figures and a 42% on 2011.

The board is attributing the growing success to the availability of strong Irish talent and creativity across all aspects of the production cycle.
