Beaumont reports 15 new virus cases
Beaumont Hospital in Dublin has reported 15 more suspected cases of the winter vomiting virus over the past 24 hours.
A total of 77 patients are now displaying symptoms of the illness, with 17 of the hospital’s 19 wards affected.
Visitor restrictions are still in place and all elective medical and surgical procedures are postponed until further notice.
Out-patient services are continuing as normal.
