A Garda patrol jeep has been rammed by a stolen car in Clondalkin in west Dublin.

A Garda patrol jeep has been rammed by a stolen car in Clondalkin in west Dublin.

Gardai attempted to stop the car which was driving dangerously on Cherrywood avenue at 4am.

However, the stolen vehicle failed to stop and rammed them.

There were no injuries and no real damage was done to the patrol jeep.

Up to two youths were involved in the incident and gardai say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
