Welch announces marriage break-up
Raquel Welch has announced that her fourth marriage is on the rocks.
The 62-year-old actress, who became a pin-up favourite after starring in 1966’s One Million Years BC, has broken up with her fourth husband, pizza king Richard Palmer.
She married Palmer, who owns a chain of pizza restaurants, in 1999 at her Beverly Hills home.
In a joint press release, they said there was no third party involved and that the separation was amicable.
Welch, who in the 1960s starred in such films as Fantastic Voyage, Kansas City Bomber and Myra Breckinridge, now appears mainly in cameo roles, most recently in Tortilla Soup and Legally Blonde.
