German woman's jaw broken in Belfast taxi attack

A 25-year-old German woman is recovering after suffering a broken jaw during an attack on a taxi in south Belfast last night.

A 25-year-old German woman is recovering after suffering a broken jaw during an attack on a taxi in south Belfast last night.

The woman was hit by a stone thrown through the windscreen of the car in a loyalist area of the city.

The driver and two other passengers escaped uninjured.

Police are appealing for information about three or four youths wearing hooded tops who were seen in the area at the time.
