Former children’s TV host Keith Chegwin has announced his new venture: a bingo website.
Chegwin rose to fame alongside Noel Edmonds on the hit show Multicoloured Swap Shop.
The 49-year-old, who is a bingo enthusiast, later fronted his own hit show, Cheggers Plays Pop.
He disappeared from TV screens for a number of years during a well-documented battle with alcohol.
Chegwin, who now has a slot on early morning show GMTV, made a comeback as host of Channel 4’s Big Breakfast and controversially bared all in Channel Five’s Naked Jungle.
In 2001, he launched a website venture that treated viewers to his own version of shows such as This Morning and The Generation Game.
Chegwin said of Cheggersbingo.com: “I’ll be popping in and out, broadcasting and hosting extra games and competitions and providing the entertainment.”
