Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a fatal shooting on the northside of the city.

A 30-year-old man was gunned down in a pub at around 8.30pm last night.

The attack happened at the Ardlea Inn in Artane when two men entered the pub and started shooting at the victim.

The man from the Cromcastle area of the city was rushed to Beaumont hospital but was pronounced dead just before 10pm.

The scene remains sealed off this morning and a technical examination will get underway later.

It's believed the attack may be linked to an inner city gangland feud.

Gardaí in Coolock are appealing for information about the killing.
