DART service temporarily disrupted

The DART service between Lansdowne Road and Dun Laoghaire was shut down for a time this afternoon to facilitate repair work on overhead lines.

The DART service between Lansdowne Road and Dun Laoghaire was shut down for a time this afternoon to facilitate repair work on overhead lines.

A spokesperson for the company said damaged lines were spotted today and repair work was needed immediately to ensure a service could be operational in time for rush hour.

The service is expected to resume by 3pm.
