Donaldson issues warning on his future

Ulster Unionist MP Jeffrey Donaldson says he will reconsider his position in the party if it fails to reject the British and Irish governments' plans for the future of the peace process.

Ulster Unionist MP Jeffrey Donaldson says he will reconsider his position in the party if it fails to reject the British and Irish governments' plans for the future of the peace process.

The 860 strong UUP council is due to meet in Belfast on June 16 to discuss the governments' joint declaration.

Anti-agreement MP Donaldson said he believes the declaration has serious implications for unionism.
