Crystal manufacturing is set to make a comeback in Waterford, albeit on a smaller scale.

Crystal manufacturing is set to make a comeback in Waterford, albeit on a smaller scale.

The group that owns brand names like Waterford Crystal and Wedgewood has today announced it is to open a new manufacturing, retail and visitor centre in the city.

WWRD said up to 90 people will be employed full-time, while up to 40 temporary staff will be hired on a seasonal basis.

The new Waterford Crystal Prestige Manufacturing Facility is scheduled to open in June
