Angela Kerins is set to be called in to face the Dáil's Public Accounts Committee, despite deciding to step down as the CEO of Rehab.
Ms Kerins and her predecessor Frank Flannery were scheduled to appear before the PAC next week to discuss the pay of senior executives.
In a statement this afternoon the committee said it had not received official correspondence from Rehab to suggest any change of plan.
It is also understood that the committee will decide that Ms Kerins will still be requested to appear, as she will still be serving out her notice as chief executive.
Despite Ms Kerins' decision to quit her job, members of the Public Accounts Committee insist that questions remain for her and other senior executives to answer over their handling of public funds.
Sinn Féin deputy leader Mary Lou McDonald said she will accept nothing but full co-operation from the former charity chief.
She said: “I must emphasise that the matters of public concern regarding pay arrangements at Rehab remain unchanged irrespective of the resignation of Ms Kerins.
“The Public Accounts Committee will continue to probe these matters on behalf of the taxpayers, the service users and in the general interest of the public.
“We will continue to expect Ms Kerins’ complete cooperation as former CEO. As such, we expect full and frank disclosure from herself and from Frank Flannery.”
She added: “If Angela Kerins has resigned in the vain hope that this will let her off the hook with the PAC, then she is sorely mistaken.”
They were due before the committee next week.
Last month the committee referred a letter to the Garda which it received from a former property developer, John Kelly, relating to his alleged involvement with Rehab Group.
