Footage shows 'confrontation between Irish Water staff and Dundalk man'

Three YouTube clips have emerged of what seems to be a confrontation between Irish Water workers and a man in Dundalk today.

The unverified videos show the staff carrying out work in front of the man's house while they have barriers placed at the entrance to his driveway.

The man is seen attempting to remove the barriers and close his gate, which seems to have been blocked by the barriers, while the Irish Water staff try to put them back.

One of the videos finishes with the gates partially closed after a tense stand-off between the man and the workers, who continue their work.
