Foot-and-mouth cases now at 430

A further 35 cases of foot-and-mouth disease have been confirmed by Britain's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

A further 35 cases of foot-and-mouth disease have been confirmed by Britain's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

They bring the national total to 430, including the one case in Northern Ireland.

All the new cases were in areas already infected by the spread of the disease.

The confirmations took place in Cumbria, Dumfries and Galloway, Anglesey, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Essex, Staffordshire and Monmouthshire.
