A man is due in court in connection with an aggravated burglary in Citywest, Dublin.

A man is due in court in connection with an aggravated burglary in Citywest, Dublin.

Gardaí investigating the burglary at a house in the Belfry area arrested two men, aged 16 and 17, yesterday.

The 17-year old was released without charge.

The other male has been charged and will appear in court this morning.

The burglary took place on the morning of November 11, when five men armed with knives threatened and assaulted the sole female occupant.

A "substantial" amount of cash was taken from the home, gardaí said.
