In the North, a man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Antrim.

In the North, a man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Antrim.

The man, who is in his late 30s, was arrested for attempted murder.

The incident happened at around 10pm yesterday in the Colson Avenue area of Lisburn.

A 38-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
