Emile Heskey and Milan Baros both struck twice as Liverpool wrapped up their Far East tour with a 6-0 win over a Hong Kong Select XI this morning.
New recruit Anthony Le Tallec, scoring his first goal for the Reds, and Vladimir Smicer were also on target in an emphatic victory.
Czech international Smicer, who netted twice against Thailand last week, bagged the first in the 14th minute but Hong Kong almost equalised when Wong Chun Yue struck the post.
Substitute Heskey doubled the tourists’ advantage after 57 minutes before Le Tallec opened his Liverpool account 15 minutes from time.
Baros claimed the first of his double two minutes later before he and Heskey wrapped up a convincing win.
