Rhyl FC 2 Bohemians 4 (Bohemians win 9-3 on aggregate)
Three goals in four minutes confirmed Bohemians' safe passage through to the second round of the Intertoto Cup as they eased past Welsh side Rhyl at Belle Vue.
Having won the first leg at Dalymount 5-1, Bohs ended any chance of a Rhyl revival once midfielder Stephen O'Donnell fired them in front on 29 minnutes.
A foul on Glen Crowe gave Bohs a penalty within 60 seconds which Jason Byrne duly converted.
A free kick from Byrne was then shot home by defender Jason McGuinness three minutes later as Bohs went 3-0 up.
Rhyl hit back with a brace of goals from Mark Connolly on 37 and 41 minutes.
But a well-taken strike from Harpal Singh on the counterattack just before half-time restored Bohs' two goal winning margin on the day and 9-3 on aggregate.
