Police in the North have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the murders of two British soldiers in Co Antrim earlier this year.

Police in the North have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the murders of two British soldiers in Co Antrim earlier this year.

The man was detained in Bellaghy, Co Derry, today.

He is being questioned about the murders of Patrick Azimkar and Mark Quinsey outside the Massereene army barracks in March and the attempted murders of five other people in the same attack.

The pair were shot dead while collecting pizzas outside the base.
